My family came from Emley. Four brothers - Fred, Albert,
Harry and Owen all played in the band until about the mid 50's. For
the ones with a long enough memory they will remember that Harry and
Albert both won the World Concertina Championship at the Albert Hall in
the late 40's. A long history of Emley music makers! |
